Nuvola by Gervasoni 1882

If ever there was a couch that looked like a giant pillow, you can count this in. Designed by Paola Navone, the Nuvola collection features a sofa, loveseat and chair all following the same organic, overstuffed lines. Yet, as cushy as this collection looks, somehow it still feels tailored and refined.

Explore Counterbalance by Luceplan

An object that seems to defy the laws of physics. Counterbalance, the first project by Studio Daniel Rybakken for Luceplan, is a wall lamp which evokes Calder’s sculptures with a very long steel arm (190 cm) whose weight, connected to a bearing structure in aluminium, is counterbalanced thanks to the use of gear wheels.

Awarded the Compasso d'Oro prize in 2014 and the Red Dot Award: Product Design prize in 2013, Counterbalance is timeless functional wall lamp that perfectly complements any interior.

Explore Normann Copenhagen Bell Pendants at The Alpinist Niseko

Located on the 3rd floor of Odin Place, The Alpinist serves up traditional Alpine cuisine with classics such as authentic fondue, raclette, crepes, galettes and soups.

With Bell, designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck have focused on designing a lamp where the expression is robust and the form is simple. Rather than being hidden, the gathering between the cord and the lamp is accentuated in a contemporary and original way. Bell is an aluminium directional lamp that changes character and creates new experiences when a person moves around it. The white inner side reflects the light, which falls like a cone and provides practical lighting over the dining table.

Alpine Living with Panton VP Globe

A decorative pendant that casts calming, diffused light from its center rim. Verner Panton designed the Globe in 1969 with five internal reflectors suspended by three steel chains and surrounded by crystal clear acrylic.

The bottom red reflector and upper blue reflector make the VP Globe shine even in plain daylight and create a style that could only be from Verner Panton. It shows Panton's great feeling for the technical aspects, materials and opportunity of lighting.

"Color planning is crucial in the design of an environment. It is not enough to say that red is red and blue is blue. I work generally parallel with the colors if tones follow each other in the spectrum. Then I can control the room's cold and warm character and create a certain mood." - Verner Panton
