Explore Sampei

The Davide Groppi Sampei floor lamp is simple yet architecturally striking. Winner of the 2014 Premio Compasso d'Oro, Sampei is the idea of a sign in the space, the idea of putting the light on the floor and on the table. A grass blade which swings and flexes even under the weight of a glance.
Simple and performing at the same time. The lighting source, tiny and adjustable, is not proportional but poetic.

Finished in fibreglass black or white. Provided with a transparent cable and available in four sizes.

"Our lamps are simple, light, unique, pure, essential. Sometimes magical. Lamps designed to give depth to the space we live in, or simply to create light. Always in search of the boundary between light and dark." Davide Groppi

Gervasoni 1882 at the Salone del Mobile Milano 2017

Paola Navone has conjured up a cool, sophisticated space for Gervasoni. The look is entirely consistent with the gracefully casual lifestyle that reflects both the company’s approach and Paola Navone’s creative flair.

As always, this year’s new products mingle effortlessly with prime pieces from earlier collections in eye-catching settings, three of which are devoted to the dining area. Semi-sheer swathes of whisper-light tartan fabric partition off the display space. Silvery walls catch the light and create a magically timeless atmosphere.

Each setting delivers a different take on the living room. In one, chilling out is the overarching theme, with generously proportioned sofas strewn with cushions; another makes socialising the main theme, with tables surrounded by numerous chairs from several Gervasoni collections. Another setting provides the living area with a cosy reading nook. And the largest space is designed to comfortably welcome a multitude of guests.

Much attention is obviously devoted to the colours and textures of the fabrics used for chairs, armchairs and sofas. Pink, acid green and aqua blend with an endless number of shades of grey, giving each piece its own distinctive personality.
