ARCO floor lamp: The famour floor lamp Arco by Flos provides direct light on dining tables and coffee tables. This luminaire came out in 1962 as an alternative to ceiling lamps. Today Arco ranks among the classical lamps. It main feature is the arch in Italian "arco" that makes an overhang of two meters range possible. The base from heavy white Carrara marble serves as counterweight. The satin-finished stainless telescopic stem allows for adjusting the height of the reflector and the range of the arch. Besides the pressed, polished and zapon-varnished aluminium reflector, that is adjustable in height can also swivel. The foot switch is on the power cord. This luminaire weights 66 Kg. It can be easily carried by two men using a stick that passes through the hole in the marble base.
