The suspension lamp by Flos Frisbi was designed in 1978 by Achille Castiglioni and is considered the best solution of the famous designer for lighting dining areas. This optically single-acting luminaire is actually an extremely well designed product that is able to provide direct, indirect and diffused light at the same time. The nickel-plated polished press plate reflector inside is painted glossy white and hangs with black cable (3,900 mm long) and black ceiling mounting. The rosette is also made of black injection molded ABS. Slightly below the reflector is one of three steel cables held and centrally cut disk of opaline injection-molded polymethylmethacrylate. The broadcast of the reflector light is directed partly directly through the recess on the table. Another portion of the light is diffusely distributed downward while a final is reflected toward the ceiling.
