The Beat Light Fat pendant lamp by Tom Dixon is one of the three smaller versions of the Beat Light series. Its bellied, round shade is funnel-shaped at the top. Tom Dixon's popular pendant lamp series was inspired by Indian water vessels and is made in India from hand-beaten brass reviving the rapidly vanishing skills of Indian master craftsmen. The exterior of the lamp is coated with a matt black finish. It is contrasted by the warm and golden colour of the hand-beaten interior which adds luxury and tints the light's colour into a particularly warm and soft tone. A black fabric cord and the ceiling rose from black metal enhance the lamp's sophisticated allure. Light is distributed downwards only and perfectly illuminates tables or counters. The Beat Light Fat pendant lamp looks at its best when combined with the other Beat Light pendants.
